Reporting to the Director of Ethics and Compliance, the position holder is responsible for coordinating and managing the company's ethics and compliance program.

What You Will Do

  • Participate in the implementation of the action plan for the ethics and compliance program, and ensure the follow-up of best practices to be implemented in terms of ethics and compliance.
  • Manage the register and measures related to corporate and individual conflict of interest declarations;
  • Collaborate in the implementation of control tools for the ethics and compliance program;
  • Provide legal advice on topics related to ethics and compliance, such as anti-corruption, fraud, personal information protection, public procurement, and governance.
  • Work closely with the Pomerleau teams to ensure leadership in personal information protection and participate in the implementation challenges regarding confidentiality and privacy.
  • Collaborate with all divisions to ensure the uniform application of ethics and compliance practices, and participate in the development of training content and other tools for employees regarding ethics, compliance, privacy, and anti-corruption.
  • Ensure follow-up and prepare responses to document production requests from various regulatory bodies (e.g., AMP, RBQ, CNSST, etc.).
  • Manage the processes for quarterly ethics reporting and respond to requests from clients and partners regarding Pomerleau's ethics and compliance.

This role could be for you if you have

  • Member in good standing of the Quebec Bar or the bar of another Canadian province; or any other appropriate training;
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience;
  • Knowledge of legislation on ethics, integrity, and anti-corruption; Knowledge of the construction industry, an asset;
  • Bilingualism (English-French);
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a multidisciplinary team environment;
