Overview

Array Behavioral Care is seeking a high-performing attorney who will provide legal counsel and guidance to the entire organization, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations, as we scale the nation’s leading virtual behavioral health practiceThis position will report to the Chief Financial Officer and involves developing and managing relationships with business unit leaders with a focus on regulatory compliance, drafting and negotiating employment and client services agreements, and helping build policies and procedures to deliver exceptional legal and compliant services at scale. 

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all legal and compliance matters for the company, including corporate governance, regulatory compliance, contract management, litigation, and risk management. 
  • Develop and maintain relationships with business-team partners that help you (i) identify legal risks and issues arising in day-to-day operations, contractual matters, and business transactions; and (ii) collaboratively develop solutions.     
  • Counsel leadership regarding proposed arrangements and complex legal matters.   
  • Draft, negotiate, and advise on a wide range of contracts and legal documents.  
  • Help build and refine processes and systems to support the delivery of exceptional services across a nationwide organization. 
  • Support business counterparts in responding to audits, malpractice matters, and litigation matters. 
  • Manage and coordinate matters with outside counsel.     
  • Advise on the Practice’s corporate governance documents. 
  • Stay up to date on changes in relevant laws and regulations and advise the company on their impact. 

Qualifications

  • J.D. degree from an ABA-accredited law school 
  • Licensed to practice law and a member in good standing of a state bar association  
  • 6+ years of regulatory/compliance/operations combined experience at a law firm and in-house at a health care company preferred, preferably health care services 
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills   
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail 
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize work matters 
  • Ability to work with and maintain confidential information 
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish credibility and influence with senior leaders 
  • Strategic thinking skills to provide practical advice with an awareness of legal risks in the business context  
  • Intermediate MS Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel  
  • Consistent access to a private work environment with high-speed internet and professionally appropriate surroundings for frequent video conferencing and workstation set up conducive to remote work needs 

Position Logistics 

  • 100% remote position 
  • Travel as needed for leadership and team meetings, less than 5% of time 
  • Reports to Chief Financial Officer 

 

Physical Requirements 

  • Constantly operate at a computer and other related peripherals such as a keyboard, mouse, headset, etc. 
  • Must remain in a stationary position most of the time working. 
  • Frequent communication via remote meeting software, softphones, or cell phones. 
  • Predominantly working in the employees’ home, indoor, office setup.  

 

The salary range for this role is $195,000.00 to $215,000.00 annual. This information reflects the anticipated salary for this position using current national data. The final offer will be determined based on an individual’s skills, experience, education, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
