While serving as a Trade Compliance Operations Consultant at Booz Allen, you’ll join a global team of experienced professionals that delivers values-driven change for our clients, colleagues, and communities. We bring bold thinking to complex problems for a diverse base of public- and private-sector clients stretching across a wide swath of industries in the U.S. and internationally. This role will focus on assisting and supporting the administration of our international trade compliance program, reporting to our team lead.

  

On our team, you will play a key role in supporting our compliance program as directed by our team lead. Specifically, you will be responsible for acting as the recordkeeping lead for our international trade compliance program, managing multiple systems of record and ensuring all recordkeeping requirements are met. You will assist in tracking and developing our compliance training protocols, as well as supporting our internal and external compliance reporting efforts. You will also be involved in cross-border shipping and customs issues, non-U.S. Person reviews using our internal tools, and Booz Allen's cross-border travel reviews. You Have:

  • 2+ years of experience working in a compliance environment for a government contractor, such as in an international trade compliance role

  • Experience supporting compliance professionals in administering corporate compliance requirements, activities, or investigations

  • Experience with compliance-related recordkeeping requirements and systems

  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to strategize and develop integrated, durable Ethics and Compliance solutions scalable for the growth of the firm

  • Ability to demonstrate attention to detail and commitment to upholding our Ethics and Compliance standards of conduct

  • Ability to translate technical advice into succinct and clear business solutions 

  • Ability to execute against clear goals, priorities, and success metrics or KPIs

  • HS diploma or GED

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience with the OCR EASE software

  • Experience with shipping and customs issues, including direct interactions with freight-forwarders or customs brokers

  • Experience working for government agencies or contractors operating in the national security or defense-aerospace sectors

  • Ability to obtain a Secret clearance

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $54,000.00 to $123,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
