Job Description: Senior Analyst, Global Compliance

As a member of the World Kinect (WK) Corporate Legal and Compliance Department, the Senior Analyst is responsible for assisting in the day-to-day implementation and advancement of the company’s global legal compliance program, ensuring the business operations comply with international laws and regulations.

The position reports to the Senior Manager, Global Compliance located in the UK and works in close collaboration with the Legal and Compliance leadership team in the US and our Compliance colleagues in Singapore and Costa Rica.

Day-to-day duties involve working with all levels of the company to develop, establish, and implement appropriate compliance processes and controls within the areas of responsibility across the Aviation, Marine, and Land divisions Worldwide.

Principal Responsibilities:

  • Review and action sanctions alerts that result from the counterparty data daily sanctions screening.
  • Review and action systems blocks for Aviation quotes and Marine orders.
  • Review sanctions related systems flags and respond to daily queries, providing advice and guidance to business units in a timely manner.
  • Use research tools to initiate and pursue investigations to resolve complex alerts or queries. 
  • Liaise with Operations, Finance, and Technology divisions to collect information relevant to sanctions concerns and systems flags.
  • Assist with producing Management information (MI) metrics, meeting reporting deadlines, and record-keeping obligations.
  • Assist in the development and enhancement of sanctions-related policies and procedure documents, internal guidance, and communications.

Role Requirements:

  • 2-3 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
  • A good understanding of international marine sanctions laws and regulations.
  • Experience using sanctions screening and vessel tracking tools.
  • Excellent attention to detail, analytical, investigative, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proactive approach to time management and managing tasks. 
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities and deliver consistently high-quality results.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, and an ability to collaborate within a team.
  • An aptitude for learning new systems and applications.
  • An interest in keeping up to date with worldwide political environments.
