Air X Jet Support Ltd. is an EASA Part-145 maintenance company, based in Stansted. Our growing engineering capabilities cover the full spectrum of services, from minor check and inspections to heavy maintenance, as well as offering rapid response AOG coverage across the UK and Europe. Our EASA Part 145 approvals endorse a large selection of business aviation jets for Line and Base maintenance including engine and avionic works for a wide variety of aircraft types.
Role
Reporting directly to the Quality Compliance Manager, the Quality Compliance Engineer will be responsible to perform audits in accordance with the audit plan, MOE and regulations and ensure the adequacy of the procedures required to ensure safe operational practices of the Part 145 approved facility.
Duties
- Implement the quality audit programme in which compliance with all procedures is reviewed at regular intervals.
- Ensure audits and the audit plan are carried out on time and are in compliance with all relevant areas of Part 145 Regulation (EC) 1321/2014 and its annexes and the coming (EU) 2021/1963 (SMS).
- Ensure the follow up of Root Cause and Corrective Actions are implemented and on time.
- Assist with Safety Reports and Investigation analysis.
Responsibilities
With respect to the specific EASA & UK CAA approval, the Quality Compliance Engineer is responsible to:
- Manage and carry out the internal audit program agreed with the Compliance Manager.
- Coordinate and facilitate the resolution of Corrective actions resulting from any findings within the accepted timescale.
- Manage non-conformance.
- Support the development and implementation of Quality Compliance processes and Procedures.
- Assist with Safety Risk Assessments and implementation of Standard Practice.
- Assist the Quality Compliance Manager on implementing and monitoring the Safety Management System.
Who are we looking for:
- Broad operational knowledge and experience in the functions of a Aviation operation and/or MRO.
- Proven experience in quality engineering and auditing,
- Familiar with Quality Management Systems.
- Basic knowledge of Part 145 regulations, at aircraft or component level will be considered depending on experience.
- Experience in the AS9100/9110 environment an advantage.
- Previous experience within Automotive Quality systems may be considered
