Vast Visibility specialises in technology which powers Insurance Price Comparison Websites, working with most of the major UK Price Comparison brands. Our business is run from our waterfront office in Liverpool, which is where the role is based. We are a part of the Howden Broking Group, which is one of the largest insurance groups in the world.
This is a great opportunity for an Operational Compliance Manager to join a growing team, responsible for covering all aspects of Compliance that would be expected of an FCA regulated business. About you:
Ability to own a compliance programme and advising on projects, as this role will operate as the first line of defence ensuring compliant activities.
Prior experience of setting up, monitoring and maintaining adequate and appropriate systems and controls to ensure that the firm meets the requirements of the Howden UK&I Group frameworks.
Able to support Vast Visibility leadership in meeting the FCA rules relating to General Insurance activities.
Knowledgeable to understand the impact of any FCA changes so you can deliver first line FCA compliance with support from various functions throughout the business.
Liaise with Group Compliance to ensure consistency of approach and also for support and guidance around key regulatory projects.
Sound understanding of online insurance distribution and remain aware of current and upcoming requirements (FCA and ICO) so you can implement continuous improvement to ensure ongoing compliance.
You will have current solid understanding of statutory and legislative requirements such as data protection and their effects in order to provide support and input to the training of staff at induction or ongoing as they adhere to a policy of Continuous Professional Development as required by Regulation, as well as your own CPD.
