Sustainable Talent is partnering with Nvidia a global leader who's been transforming computer graphics, PC gaming, and accelerated computing for over 25 years. 

 

We are looking for an HR Compliance Specialist to support our client's HR Global Compliance and Immigration team.

 

This is a W-2 full-time contract position based out of Santa Clara, CA with remote options. We offer competitive compensation based on experience, with full benefits, PTO, and amazing company culture!

 

In this role you will support both U.S. and International compliance programs. The ideal candidate should have an understanding of current HR Compliance and Immigration requirements and remain abreast on new developments. You will serve as the main point of contact for managers, new hires, recruiters, existing employees, and the HR team on all HR compliance matters.

 

What You’ll be Doing

 

  • Administer HR compliance onboarding programs, including background check review, deemed export review, I-9 review. Assist with management of general compliance programs, including workers compensation, compliance trainings, and unemployment claims.
  • Routinely engage with internal legal teams and external vendors on government requirements for abovementioned programs.
  • Craft internal guidelines, procedures, and communication for compliance programs.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on I-9/E-Verify compliance, deliver internal training on I-9 and audit weekly I-9s for new hires.
  • Coordinate and maintain compliance-based reporting in accordance with established deadlines.
  • Track appropriate Government Contract clearance.
  • Understanding of Data Privacy and GDPR regulations a bonus.

Requirements

 

  • 4-5 years of HR/Compliance experience.
