JOB SUMMARY: The Grants and Compliance Coordinator provides leadership and direction for programs funded by federal, state, and private funds; oversees the financial administration of federal, state, and private grants; ensures that program staff accomplish their approved program initiatives; and that the Institution meets compliance and reporting requirements. Works collaboratively with Deans, Directors, Faculty, and Staff to conduct and oversee academic and quality assurance, including program level assessment, and Institutional effectiveness. Assists in the design, implementation, execution, and evaluation of Institutional planning, assessment, and accreditation projects. Assists in the budget development process and performs budget analysis duties as assigned by the Director of Institutional Planning, Assessment, Accreditation and Research, the Chief Financial Officer, and/or his/her designee.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education and experience equivalent to: a master’s degree with a concentration in accounting or finance and previous experience in grants financial management, finance, accounting, and/or auditing required. Three to Five [3-5] years’ or more experience working in or overseeing governmental / federal grants required. Must have experience with HRSA, NIH, NSF, or PCORI funding. Experience in an educational setting preferred, but not required.
