We have an opportunity for an Engineering Compliance Administrator to join our team in West Perth, WA. Reporting to the Regional Maintenance Manager APAC, the Engineering Compliance Administrator is responsible for ensuring the development and oversight of existing Engineer training, licensing, and authorisation activates, and these are accurate and are conducted within the regulatory framework.

Key Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the evaluation of instructor performance and training effectiveness; provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of the CASR Part 145 Maintenance Organization’s role-based training needs and supervise management of continuation, competency and currency records in the Learning and Quality Management Systems.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of the CASR Part 66 Manual of Standards, licensing requirements.
  • Assist APACs Company Maintenance Authorities through relevant qualification assessments for the issuance of internal authorities.
  • Assist engineer apprentices in development and learning outcomes.
  • Assist with implementation of long-term engineering direct and indirect training plans for APAC and evaluate timelines and resources necessary to achieve the organization’s training demands.
  • Liaise directly with Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) and Maintenance Training Organisations (MTO) for Part 147 maintenance course availability, planning, scheduling and execution.
  • May perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Diploma in Business Administration, equivalent or greater preferred
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40122) (preferred)
  • Experience in related industry/field

Skills/Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a technical training program management
  • Experience within aviation maintenance training preferred.
  • Understanding of aviation regulatory environments (CASA and EASA) is essential, as well as knowledge in Part 145 and Part 147 Organizations and Part 66 licencing.
  • Strong business knowledge in regulatory policies, processes, and strategic training development.
  • Experience in business planning and task execution
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, and matrix management skills.
  • Excellent customer engagement and key stakeholder relationship management skills
  • High level of proficiency with the Microsoft Office, intranet platforms and other communications tools
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
  • Proven ability to execute and manage change effectively in a dynamic workplace environment.
