Graduate Program Overview 

The CRB Graduate Development Program (GDP) is a non-rotational two-year-program that provides the opportunity to develop a broad knowledge base, varied skills, and diverse network. This program is designed to set you up with a holistic view of CRB with hands-on experience, insight, and opportunities to make an impact and shape your own career.  

GDP participants will be immersed in a 1-week-in-person orientation followed by a robust onboarding training learning about various functions within CRB. Our program is designed to provide graduates with a well-rounded understanding of the industry while having the opportunity to deep dive within their respective business area. 

Finance Overview 

The Finance function serves both internal and external customers: colleagues within our company, client organizations, shareholders, financial institutions, vendors, and regulatory agencies around the world. In Business Finance, we support the day-to-day financial operations for the North America Corporate Risk and Broking (CRB) business. Our main responsibilities include coordinating forecasting, budgeting and consolidated financial–analytics and supporting business leaders in meeting financial objectives and making key business decisions. A role in finance is suited to individuals who are strategic independent thinkers that pay attention to detail. They flourish when working in a team environment and have strong analytical, communication, and data interpretation skills. 

 

 



Qualifications

Role Requirements:

Responsibilities: 

  • Preparing financial reports & KPIs for management  
  • Analyze revenue & expense data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement  
  • Develop financial models to support decision-making (i.e. T&E trending, Salary Modeling)  
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure financial data is accurate and consistent  
  • Evaluate the financial impact of business decisions and providing recommendations to management  
  • Assist region / Business Unit finance in updating plan and forecast systems  
  • Ad hoc projects  

Education and Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 3.0 GPA 
  • Preferred Majors: Finance and / or Accounting preferred, Open to Business Majors 
  • Date of Graduation between May 2024 – May 2025  
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) 
  • Alteryx, Power BI or other AI / data experience is a plus

  • Exceptional interpersonal skills 
  • Proficient in time management 
  • Analytical skills: The ability to analyze financial data, identify trends, use financial modelling and analysis tools to support decision-making

Compensation and Benefits: 

Base salary range and benefits information for this position are included in accordance with the requirements of various state/local pay transparency legislation. Please note that base salaries may vary for different individuals in the same role based on several factors, including but not limited to location of the role, individual competencies, education/professional certifications, qualifications/experience, performance in the role and potential for revenue generation (Producer roles only).

Compensation

The base salary compensation range being offered for this role is $75,000 – 85,000 USD.  This role is also eligible for overtime.
