WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
The Coordinator, Safeguarding & Compliance provides administrative support for US Club Soccer’s safeguarding and compliance initiatives throughout US Club Soccer’s ecosystem.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Provide administrative support for safeguarding and compliance reports, inquiries, and cases from intake through closure.
- Communicate appropriate information internally and externally with relevant parties, resources and stakeholders.
- Assist in the development, implementation and execution of auditing procedures to ensure compliance with US Club Soccer policies and procedures.
- Execute procedures regarding adverse eligibility lists, such as addressing matches and potential matches and conducting periodic reviews.
- Assist in the creation, implementation, and execution of department priorities.
- Be a safeguarding and compliance knowledge resource and stay updated on policies, trends, and best practices.
- Contribute to the overall strategy and development of US Club Soccer’s safeguarding and compliance initiatives.
- Proactively suggest new and revised policies, procedures, and resources.
- Ensure clean and thorough documentation, maintain updated records, and manage knowledge resources effectively.
- Oversee and address safeguarding and compliance-related registration requirements and support escalations.
THE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE YOU NEED:
This position requires an individual who is proactive, motivated, of high integrity, and able to work cooperatively in a team environment while representing US Club Soccer in a professional manner. Additional qualifications are as follows:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year institution, or equivalent previous work experience.
- Ability to think critically, interpret and comprehend complex information, and recognize and assess risk in a logical capacity.
- Exceptional diligence, attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Clear and efficient written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to consistently produce clean and thorough documentation.
- Strong emotional intelligence.
- Ability to use discretion and handle sensitive information confidentially.
NOTES:
This position is employed by Wasserman for US Club Soccer. Compensation consists of a base salary and benefits as outlined in employment and US Club Soccer staff documents.
