WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Annually review and update 3-year testing plans for accuracy and relevance and create annual testing plans in accordance with the plans.
  • Review developments in legislation and regulation applicable to business units, as well as regulatory decisions.
  • Review Suspicious Transactions escalated to the position, determine whether filing with FINTRAC is required, and if so, do the filing.
  • Monitor completion of accepted recommendations arising from reports.
  • Report on status of annual testing plan and adjust remainder of year accordingly.

WHAT YOU’VE DONE

  • Undergraduate Degree in a relevant discipline such as Business Administration, Commerce, Accounting.
  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience in the field of regulatory compliance, audit, or risk management.
  • Related Federally Regulated Financial Institution (FRFI) compliance and/ or audit experience considered an asset.
