Compliance Assistant

We’re looking for a Compliance Assistant to provide operational support to our Compliance experts, ensuring we maintain the highest standards and support our unique position as Australia’s leading pet insurance underwriting management agency.

What You’ll Do:

• Provide compliance support and advice to support business operations.
• Support operational compliance issues related to customers, suppliers, competitors, and regulators.
• Assist in drafting, reviewing, and approving business documentation, including quote tools, websites, advertising, and promotional materials.
• Monitor and report on changes in the legal and regulatory environment.
• Monitor PetSure’s breach and incidents register, including remediation and recording of identified breaches and incidents.
• Assist with PetSure’s monitoring and assurance framework and processes, including conducting proactive and targeted activities as required.
• Act in accordance with PetSure’s Compliance framework, including policy development, maintenance, and audits.
• Contribute to business projects as the compliance representative.

What You’ll Bring:

• Compliance experience within the Australian regulatory environment.
• Experience in the general insurance industry.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to manage competing deadlines and prioritise matters based on business needs.
• Ability to work autonomously and collaborate with teams for better business outcomes.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to confidently interact with relevant internal stakeholders.
