Associate, Credit Risk with GreenSky Management Company LLC in Atlanta, Georgia. Remote work permitted 3 days per week within commuting distance of Atlanta, Georgia. Provide analytical support in the identification of merchant risks and opportunities and the creation of strategic or tactical recommendations. Perform root cause analysis of changing trends to identify performance (e.g., delinquency, loss, profitability) drivers.
Conduct quantitative analysis and analyze large volumes of data to identify emerging credit performance trends. Collaborate with teams within the Credit Strategy function to develop and test hypothesis. Research industry trends and competitor analysis and present findings to senior management. Clearly and concisely communicate results of analysis both written and verbally. SQL and Tableau development for monthly/weekly/daily operations reports/dashboards sourced from multiple databases across multiple systems of records. Adhoc analysis to help support the needs of cross functional teams.
Strategic development of policies and procedures that will drive the effectiveness and efficiency of the merchant investigations team. Implementation of strategies that identify high risk merchant behaviors. Work directly with IT and BI teams to implement strategic solutions regarding merchant level controls. Design and implement credit risk strategic solutions within rule driven decision platform.
Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as Economics, Finance, Statistics, Analytics, Mathematics, Operations Research, Engineering, Computer Science or related field.
Two (2) years of experience in a relevant analytical and quantitative role.
Prior experience must include two (2) years of experience with the following: utilizing SQL programming to extract, aggregate, and analyze data; and credit risk strategy development and segmentation analysis for loan delinquency, loss forecast, and portfolio profitability.
Prior experience must include one (1) year of experience with the following: profitability and pricing strategies for a home improvement lending business; working knowledge in Microsoft Excel, including creation of pivot tables, use of logic functions (such as vlookup or sumproduct); Advanced Tableau capabilities, including using Level of Detail expression to create calculated fields; working with large datasets using Python or another similar programming language (such as R); and communicating complex financial concepts to senior leadership through written, verbal, and presentation skills.
