The Opportunity:

We are seeking an experienced and visionary Senior Product Manager to lead the expansion of CORIQ into AML and other financial crime domains. This role requires a strategic thinker with deep expertise in financial crime prevention, a strong background in product management, and the ability to drive innovation in a rapidly evolving regulatory environment.

The successful candidate will define the product vision, execute the roadmap, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver cutting-edge solutions that address fraud, AML compliance, and financial crime challenges for our clients.
 

This is a hybrid role with requirements to be on site 3 days a week, providing a balance between remote flexibility and in-person collaboration.
 

About The Role:

• Develop and execute a product strategy for CORIQ’s expansion into AML and financial crime prevention, including a 5-year roadmap for new products and enhancements.
• Articulate the product and go-to-market strategy based on a proven product management framework, considering market gaps and opportunities.
• Conduct market research to determine customer needs and evaluate current products’ strengths and weaknesses.
• Gather, analyze, and evaluate competitive information and conduct macro environment analysis to identify economic and technological forces impacting clients and products.
• Serve as the internal and external evangelist for the product offering, collaborating with sales channels, key clients, engineering, data science, and design teams.
• Bring new products to market by analyzing proposed product requirements, preparing return-on-investment analyses, and establishing time schedules with delivery teams.
• Define a product roadmap and successful go-to-market strategy in partnership with Sales and Marketing, including target market segmentation, channel distribution, pricing, and promotional activities.
• Develop business and marketing plans for products, including pricing, implementation process, and support the execution of client events and internal education sessions.
• Support the development of sales collateral with internal partners and external agencies, and review product development and analysis to maintain awareness of trends and activities.
• Prepare management reports, including product business reviews, financials, and forecasts, and define customer journey and user experience.
• Monitor, track, and analyze product performance and trends of volume and profitability, partnering with clients to understand their pain points in AML compliance and financial crime prevention.
• Act as the voice of the customer within Symcor, ensuring client needs are reflected in product design, and engage with regulators and industry bodies to ensure compliance with evolving standards.
• Engage with the Finance team to ensure accurate financial reporting on revenue and budget forecasts, communicate profitability targets and performance, and work with other departments to enhance product profitability.

What You Need to Succeed:

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field; MBA or equivalent experience is preferred.
  
  

Experience:

• At least 5+ years of experience in product management, with significant exposure to AML or financial crime prevention solutions.
• Strong knowledge of AML regulations (e.g., FATF guidelines) and financial crime frameworks.
• Experience working with technologies such as AI/ML, fraud detection systems, or compliance platforms.
• Experience in launching a software product from 0-1 with strong understanding about executing a Go-To-Market plan within the financial service industry.  

Skill requirements:

• Proven track record of launching successful products in highly regulated industries.
• Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to influence cross-functional teams.
• Excellent communication skills for engaging with clients, technical teams, executives, and regulators.
• Market Knowledge of the AML and Financial Fraud industry.
