Your Mission
The Security & Compliance Lead/Facility Security Officer (“FSO”) manages, administers and coordinates the industrial security program and other security activities to ensure compliance with government regulations and Company security policies and procedures to maintain the Company’s Facility Security Clearance.  This position is integral in ensuring the effective implementation of the Company’s DoD Foreign Owned Control and Influence (“FOCI”) mitigation agreement, including the protection of classified and controlled-unclassified information, including serving providing support to the Technology Control Officer in the protection of export-controlled information.

Areas for Impact

    • Administer personnel security clearance processes for initial submissions and periodic reinvestigations
    • Oversee compliance with the Special Security Agreement (“SSA”), including its companion mitigation plans: (1) Affiliated Operations Plan; (2) Electronic Communications Plan; (3) Technology Control Plan, to include routine auditing and reporting
    • Oversee Company’s Insider Threat Program
    • Serve as principal advisor to the Senior Management Official and Company Board’s Government Security Committee on security matters associated with the SSA
    • Create and maintain security policies, processes and procedures, as well as security plans and instructions
    • Conduct initial security briefings for new hires; develop and execute annual refresher training and other security briefings for Company personnel; conduct exit interviews and debriefings
    • Investigate and report security violations and incidents
    • Maintain all security documentation in accordance with the Defense Counterintelligence Security Agency (“DCSA”) requirements, contracts and other requirement

We'd like to hear from you if you identify with the following

    • Minimum 3 years of experience as an FSO or Assistant FSO
    • Extensive knowledge of the NISPOM, SEADs and ICDs
    • Working knowledge of government contracting, particularly as related to compliance with contractual security requirements
    • Demonstrated ability to in-process, maintain and out-process employees and contractors
    • Demonstrated ability to provide personnel security guidance
    • TS security clearance
    • Experience with protection requirements for handling and safeguarding classified, controlled-unclassified, personally identifiable, export-controlled and other sensitive information
    • Experience with JPAS, NISS, e-QIP and other government information systems
    • You have a passion for security

    • Preferred Qualifications
    • Experience working for a FOCI mitigated company
    • Knowledge about and/or experience as an ISSO or ISSM
    • Training and accreditation through DCSA and the National Security Learning Center
    • Experience with COMSEC and SAP
