DescriptionAllwyn operates the Three Lines of Defence Model. The Central Risk Team is a Second Line function supporting the First Line Risk Owners and business embedded Functional Assurance teams with application of the Enterprise Risk Management Framework and the use of the AuditBoard Governance, Risk and Compliance system.
The purpose of the role is to support the Senior Risk Manager with maintaining the Enterprise Risk Management Framework and to assist the business with the application of the Framework. We have recently implemented AuditBoard and a key requirement of this position is to become the AuditBoard knowledge specialist. This is not only for the Risks and Controls modules but also the “CrossComply”, “ESG” and “Workstream” modules.
Enterprise Risk Management Framework
- Support the Head of ERM and Oversight and the Senior Risk Manager with the annual review of the Risk Management Policy
- Support the Senior Risk Manager with the annual review of Risk Management Processes
- Advise Risk Owners and Functional Assurance Leads on the application of the Policy and Process
- Provide training to groups or individuals
Risk Registers
- Assist the business with the articulation and assessment of risks and controls
- Perform ad-hoc risk deep dives
- Help the Compliance Analyst from time to time with administration of the Control Self Assessment process
AuditBoard GRC system
- Expert user of all system modules
- Administer risk processes on the system
- Produce system generated dashboards and reporting
- Work with the business to identify opportunities to expand the use of the system / champion the use of the system
Collaborative working relationships
Establish and maintain collaborative working relationships with the business, Functional Assurance Leads, Internal Audit and Regulatory Compliance.
Requirements - Risk management or internal audit experience essential
- Relevant degree
- Professional qualification (e.g. ACA, CIA, or similar) preferred
- Previous experience with a GRC system is advantageous
