At Smart, our mission is to transform retirement, savings and financial wellbeing, across all generations, around the world.

THE ROLE

We’re looking for a curious, analytical and determined Risk and Compliance Analyst to join our Risk and Assurance team. You will be working with our Risk Managers and a wide range of business stakeholders to ensure that our internal controls are owned, documented, measured, reviewed and maintained.

Responsibilities:

  • Support Risk Managers and the Director in their day-to-day activities, including drafting, formatting, and maintaining documents, reports, presentations, and other relevant materials

  • Support client-driven information requests, including the completion of due diligence questionnaires and the ongoing maintenance of client-facing risk and compliance documentation

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

The skills, experience, and aptitudes we are looking for are listed below but please don’t be discouraged from applying if you don’t meet every single one of these criteria – having a ‘can do’ attitude is sometimes more important than being able to tick every box:

  • You will have strong organisational and planning skills, with the ability to prioritise and multitask

  • You may be a recent graduate, or have a few years’ experience of supporting a team or managing processes

  • You will have excellent written and verbal skills

  • You will be proactive and solution-orientated, using your initiative to improve processes

  • Experience of producing data, documents and presentations is an advantage

  • You will be great with detail and strong problem solving skills

  • You will enjoy learning about other teams and be driven by a desire to make a contribution to great outcomes

  • You will be confident in communicating with all kinds of internal and some external stakeholders

  • You may have developed these skills in PMO, Risk Management, Compliance, Assurance or ITIL or Agile environments
