As part of our commitment to environmental compliance, the EPR Pay on Behalf (PoB) program helps sellers meet their Extended Producer Responsibility obligations while continuing to sell on Amazon's marketplace.

We are seeking a Product Operations Manager to lead the operational excellence of our EPR Pay on Behalf program. This role will be instrumental in establishing and scaling fee management systems, ensuring accurate seller chargebacks, and maintaining a seamless seller experience across multiple marketplaces.

Key job responsibilities
- Design and implement robust operational processes to manage EPR Pay on Behalf fee calculations, charges, and recovery from sellers across all applicable marketplaces
- Build and maintain comprehensive reporting systems to provide sellers with transparent visibility into their EPR fees and payments
- Lead the geographic expansion of seller chargeback operations into new marketplaces, ensuring consistent fee recovery and compliance
- Develop and optimize the payment refund experience, establishing fair and scalable processes that maintain seller trust
- Partner with Product, Tech, Finance, and Legal teams to implement operational improvements and resolve complex fee-related issues
- Monitor key operational metrics and KPIs to ensure program effectiveness and fee recovery goals are met
- Identify opportunities for automation and process optimization to enhance operational efficiency
- Manage stakeholder communications and provide regular updates on program performance and metrics

A day in the life
During your day, you could find yourself:

- Analyzing seller feedback and developing solutions to improve their fee visibility and payment experience
- Meeting with stakeholders to present your latest dashboard showing fee recovery trends and success metrics
- Troubleshooting complex fee scenarios with the tech team to ensure accurate and timely seller charges
- Creating documentation for a new operational process you've designed
- Diving into data to identify patterns and opportunities for process improvement
- Creating monthly chargeback plans and analyzing recovery trends to optimize fee collection strategies
- Collaborating with finance teams to forecast recovery targets and track progress

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- several years of experience in operations management, preferably in e-commerce or financial services
- Strong analytical skills with experience in data-driven decision making
- Proven track record of implementing and scaling operational processes
- Experience with cross-functional project management and stakeholder management

- Experience working with legal, product, and internal business owners to reach mutually beneficial agreements
- MBA or relevant advanced degree
- Knowledge of environmental compliance or EPR regulations
- Proficiency in SQL and data visualization tools (e.g., Amazon QuickSight, Tableau, PowerBI)
