The Global Director, Ethics and Compliance, takes a leadership role in working with the Chief Compliance Officer, to implement and maintain an effective Global corporate compliance program, including ethics and compliance risk assessments, mitigation strategies, training programs, auditing and monitoring activities and workplace compliance investigations.
Additionally, leads the business ethics and compliance committee(s) for Canada, providing compliance oversight for the region, and making necessary modifications to the global business ethics and compliance program to meet regional needs. Assists the regional Compliance Officers for LATAM, US, Middle East and India in the implementation of the global program.
Additionally takes a lead role in the management of the global data privacy program including leading global risk assessments, policy development, third party due diligence activities, training, monitoring and auditing.
Takes a lead role in the global business ethics and compliance ESG activities, including customer ethical sourcing audits and due diligence requests, and ESG program deliverables.
Takes a lead role in the oversight of investigations related to quality and reported through the ethics and compliance speak up channels.
