A day in the life:

As a Compliance Monitor, you will be responsible for listening to and auditing a variety of internal sales activities and applying a framework of objective criteria to make appropriate assessments.

You will also be responsible for identifying any risks within the business and working within a regulatory framework. The ideal candidate will have some experience in call monitoring, with experience in the finance/secured lending industry preferable.

Duties may include the execution of requests associated with UK Data Protection Legislation (such as Data Protection Act 2018, UK GDPR) including the collation and supply of data for subject access requests and the deletion / anonymisation of data in response to data deletion requests. You’ll be an enthusiastic and driven individual, with high attention to detail and great people skills.

Role requirements

Essential

  • Minimum 6 GCSE's grade C or above
  • Previous experience in secured finance
  • Experience of contributing to a TCF culture
  • Sound knowledge of TCF principles 
  • Knowledge of FCA principle-based regulation and its application
  • Experience of delivering feedback and training
  • ​Competent Word and Excel skill

Desirable

  • Experience of other financial products such as mortgages and unsecured loans
  • Excellent IT skills
  • Experience in a busy environment
  • Experience of working successfully in a team
  • CeMap qualified
  • Previous call monitoring experience
