SUPERVISES: This position does not have direct reports.
 
 
POSITION SUMMARY: Under direct supervision, the Hospital Housekeeping Compliance Coordinator is responsible for administrative and compliance analytics programs related to the California Code of Regulations Title 15, Title 22 and PRIDE/CHCF contract requirements. This job class requires general knowledge and ability to maintain document compliance and retention and perform analytics reports per contract requirement and operational need.
 
 
TYPICAL DUTIES:
1. *Analyze and produce detailed reports for daily, weekly, monthly, bi-annual, and annual contract deliverable service logs for completion, accuracy, time-based analysis.
2. *Analyze and produce detailed reports for contract required tool and closet inventories, perpetual, and supply inventories for all contracted areas.
3. *Review inaccessibility codes for each service area and generate detailed report for escalation to custody staff.
4. *Identify staff trends through review of service documentation for critical room types as identified in the CCHCS Audit.
5. *Create spreadsheets, formulated workbooks, charts, graphs, and other visual aids through various software programs.
6. *Analyze and produces detailed reports for weekly productivity statistics by service area and employee to determine trends based on completed deliverables and hours /FTEs allocated.
7. *Generate and create detailed reports for monthly customer and institutional meetings: Environment of Care, Specialized Bed Subcommittee, Resource Management Committee, Monthly Executive Quality Summary.
8. *Maintains contract required retention for service documentation and contract documents to include: daily, weekly, monthly, bi-annual, annual service logs, closet and cart inventory forms, equipment check-in and check-out logs, electronic device accountability logs, terminal clean forms and log, work order forms and log, and any and all applicable forms.
9. *Updates and uses version control to maintain current versions of all service documentation, SOPs, and forms.
10. *Printing, organization and filing of all relevant contract and operational documentation and other administrative support for departments such as logistics, training, quality, and operations.
11. *Performs other duties and special projects as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
• One or more years administrative experience.
• Demonstrates organizational, problem solving and analytical skills.
• Moderate computer literacy including knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, database, and presentation software.
• Knowledge of business English including vocabulary, spelling, and correct grammatical usage and punctuation.
• Mathematical skills to include the ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
• Flexibility to respond to changing work priorities and monitor multiple projects at the same time.
• Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing; to make presentations and respond to Inquiries by senior management, customers, employees, and public
 
 

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: 

High School Diploma or GED

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:  

Employees must have the ability to perform the following physical demands for extended periods of time with or without assistance:
• Viewing computer screen/monitor
• Utilizing keyboard
• Answering phone/making calls
• Lifting boxes or equipment weighing up to 35 pounds, and up to 50 pounds occasionally

 

 

WORK ENVIRONMENT:  

Most of the work is performed in a normal office environment with some privacy and some exposure to background noise. A small amount of the work is in a warehouse setting where there may be slight exposure to heat or cold temperatures.
