Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Ensure strict adherence to internal policies, procedures, and controls; update checklists and job aids as needed.
  • Conduct ongoing AML/KYC reviews and ensure compliance with our partners regulatory requirements.
  • Compile, maintain, and analyze compliance documentation, data, and reports for management.
  • Test and audit compliance procedures, identify discrepancies, and recommend improvements.
  • Respond promptly to compliance inquiries and assist with rule interpretation.
  • Supports ongoing business requirements and evaluates adequacy of policies, procedures, and training.
  • Assess and document compliance program risks and controls; prepare status reports for management.
  • Review and manage documentation, contracts, and processes for compliance.
  • Proactively identify, analyze, and mitigate operational, financial, reputational, and regulatory risks.
  • Monitor regulatory developments and industry trends; update policies and communicate changes.
  • Develop and deliver compliance and risk management training to staff.
  • Collaborate with credit, operations, and other teams to manage risks.
  • Investigate compliance breaches and risk incidents; document findings and recommend corrective actions.
  • Support validation, stress testing, and scenario analysis of credit and risk models (as and when needed).
  • Assess ESG risks, verify client ESG data, and request third-party certifications as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with privacy laws and data protection regulations.

Education / Experience Requirements:

  • College degree or equivalent.
  • 2–4 years’ experience in a related field.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint; ability to learn new software.
  • Team player with ability to work independently.

 

Salary Range $55,000 to $72,000
