Attention all go-getters! Deriv is in search of a seasoned and meticulous professional to join our stellar team as an Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Combating Financing of Terrorism (CFT), and Social Responsibility (SR) Specialist. As part of this exciting role, you’ll assist Deriv in fulfilling AML/CFT/SR requirements set forth by the relevant regulatory authorities across different jurisdictions.

Your challenges
  • Conduct meticulous and timely AML and CFT investigations, maintaining the highest level of professionalism.
  • Gather details on customers' source of funds and/or wealth, and request supporting documentation as and when required.
  • Monitor customers and their transactions according to their respective risk levels.
  • Check and identify suspicious behaviour, investigate, and work with other stakeholders to take required action according to the respective risk level, including help in the investigation and reporting of suspicious transactions.
  • Perform AML/CFT risk assessments.
  • Collaborate to manage and mitigate risks associated with money laundering and financing of terrorism.
  • Contribute to the development, implementation, and maintenance of internal AML/CFT policies, procedures, and systems and be proactive in suggesting improvements to the existing processes.
  • Assist in the development of the AML/CFT training programmes and take part in raising awareness among stakeholders.
  • Conduct social responsibility checks.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Minimum 1-year experience in an AML/CFT-focused role
  • High level of attention to detail and adherence to established procedures
  • Ability to work collaboratively and cross-functionally
  • Proactive approach and accountability for your work
  • Inquisitiveness and ability to highlight risks based on findings
  • Ability to maintain high levels of confidentiality and data security standards
  • Capacity to multitask and take initiative in all parts of the operation
  • Excellent spoken and written English communication skills
