Commercial Paralegal/Legal Assistant

Location: Kamloops, BC

Salary Range: $65,000 - $75,000

Our client is one of the largest and most diverse law firms in the interior of BC and is looking for an experienced Commercial Paralegal/Legal Assistant who can work independently with minimal supervision as well as an effective team player.

Job Duties

• To manage files relating to commercial transactions, including buying and selling businesses and various real estate transactions
• Document preparation
• Various due diligence searches
• General administrative duties
• Provide assistance in relevant areas of law as required

Experience and Qualifications

• 3-5 years’ experience in commercial transactions and commercial real estate
• Experience with property development, Subdivisions will be an asset
• Experience in BC Online, Land Title and Survey Authority programs, as well as familiarity with corporate records will be an asset
• A degree in a relevant field would be considered an asset
