What you will do

  • Meet Set KPIs as per Staff KPI Table for role
  • Support the Lead, Compliance and Performance to ensure (IEA) processes, policies, procedures, and claims are compliant with contractual, legal and IEA requirements. Take proactive steps to mitigate and control risks.
  • Collate, collect claims documentary evidence from Senior/EC’s, SESCs for all claims, review and approve for claiming. Submit claims into DOSS ESS system for claims
  • Assist in training, guiding and support ECs, SECs and SESCs and other team members with matters of compliance with documentary evidence for claims and DOSS guidelines
  • Provide reports as required
  • Ensure all IEA claims are processed on time and are compliant with the IEA Documentary Evidence Guidelines; assess compliance against fees claimed, escalate non-compliance and complex claims

What you will bring

  • Certificate IV in accounting, disability services or equivalent qualification and/ or knowledge and experience 
  • Experience in financial claiming through government or commercial portals (eg PRODA, Medicare), liaising with plan managers and self-managed clients to access client plan and service booking details 
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain accuracy, high attention to detail and appropriately set priorities (time management) while working to competing deadlines
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office suite and client information management systems
  • Effective organisational and problem-solving skills and strong attention to quality and detail
  • Excellent communication, time management and problem solving skills
  • A passion for safeguarding human rights and a deep personal connection to working in a purpose-driven organisation.
  • Hold (or be willing to obtain) a current NDIS Worker Screening Check, Working with Children Check, and a ‘C’ class driver’s license, along with an up-to-date COVID vaccination certificate or a medical exemption.
  • A Current First Aid Certificate & CPR Certificate (willingness to Obtain if not held or expired) (check)
  • Passport, Birth or Citizenship Certificate to validate Australian Work Rights
  • Willingness to complete a National & International Police Check (Paid by Afford)
